Program Year: 3rd

Why I Applied to Join the UCEA GSC: As I received tremendous mentorship from the UCEA in preparing myself as a scholar and as a better leader, I want to pay it forward to graduate students pursuing their career passions.

What I’m Looking Forward to on the UCEA GSC: I am looking forward to supporting fellow graduate students by working with other GSC members and UCEA-affiliated scholars.

Why I Applied to Join the UCEA GSC: I find it important to prioritize graduate student voice in the GSC while also enhancing the visibility of its members.

What I’m Looking Forward to on the UCEA GSC: I look forward to learning from tenured members of the GSC while also working as a collective to carry graduate student support forward.

Why I Applied to Join the UCEA GSC: UCEA is one of the most welcoming and diverse professional organizations I have ever joined, and I want to share that community with more graduate students through the GSC.

Why I Applied to Join the UCEA GSC: I applied to the GSC to connect with scholars who will drive change within urban education and policy.

What I’m Looking Forward to on the UCEA GSC: I am most looking forward to open the dialogue about how to help Puerto Rico as they embark on the education reform as well as its impact on the island.
