Moral Literacy and Ethical Leadership: From the Local to the Global


The 2015 Values and Leadership Conference will take place on October 15, 16, and 17, 2015 (Click HERE for downloading the conference flyer). The theme of the upcoming conference is “Moral Literacy and Ethical Leadership: From the Local to the Global.” Selected presentation and discussion topics at the conference include ethical leadership, education, and social justice; models of ethical development and developing ethical leaders; diverse forms of ethical leadership, from policy to classrooms; the juxtaposition of local and global perspectives on education, ethics and leadership; and education, ethics, and multiple literacies, including the intersection of ecological and moral literacy. Unique to this conference is a focus on ethics and social justice in education, as well as discussion of ethical development and ethical leadership in diverse educational realms (from educational policy and administration to pedagogy and classroom practices). The conference will be attended by individuals from numerous countries and from a variety of disciplines.
