The
official overflow hotel for the 2006 UCEA Convention in San
Antonio is the Sheraton Gunther Hotel, located just a block
away from the St. Anthony.

Sheraton Gunter Hotel San Antonio
UCEA will provide interested participants with a hotel registration
form, but UCEA will not make reservations for individuals
at the hotel. Please fax or mail your form to the hotel at
the numbers and address provided on the form.
The
hotel will extend the UCEA group rate three (3) days before
Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006 and three (3) days after Saturday, Nov.
11, 2006, subject to availability.

Getting
from the Airport to the Hotel
Shuttle service from the San Antonio International Airport
to The St. Anthony is available. The fare is $12 one-way and
$22 round-trip. Taxi service is $18 one way and $38 round
trip. It takes about 20 minutes or 8 miles for the airport
to the hotel.
Getting to St. Anthony’s by car
Take Hwy 281 (IH-37 South). Exit Houston St and turn right.
Follow to Broadway. Turn left. Follow to Travis St. and turn
right. St. Anthony’s is located one block on the left.
The trip is approximately 20 minutes.
