Dr. Scheurich's research and publications have focused on school reform, organizational change, policy production, knowledge production, white racism and social context issues. He is the co-editor of the International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education. Currently, Dr. Scheurich serves as the Director of the Executive Leadership Program. His work on racially biased epistemologies has been considered quite controversial.
