UCEA Advocacy Guidebook

UCEA Advocacy Guidebook

The University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) has released its first guidebook to help scholars advocate for policies that support high-quality university-based leadership preparation in PK-12 education. The UCEA Advocacy Guidebook: Building Consensus for Excellence in Leadership Preparation offers tools and strategies for engaging with policymakers, understanding the legislative process, and communicating effectively. It includes practical examples and will be complemented by a teaching guide in 2026. This guidebook aligns with other UCEA resources and upcoming events, such as a town hall and workshops in early 2026, aimed at enhancing advocacy efforts at state and federal levels.
